AIM #3 is a highly effective, liquid-applied, protective, vapor barrier coating that waterproofs and seals building foundations and below grade construction. It is highly resistant to sulfates, soil contaminants, bacterial and other environmental conditions. Designed for permanent flexibility and strength, AIM #3 provides long-lasting waterproof and vapor proof protection.

AIM #3 has excellent cold temperature flexibility and may be used in cold storage or cryogenic facilities to maintain an airtight vapor proof seal. AIM #3 may also be used in wood kilns, malting houses, vaults, fish hatcheries and mushroom houses to control the passage of moisture vapor. AIM #3 has also been used successfully to form a barrier against radon and other gases.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES:

Caution! READ THIS ENTIRE PRODUCT DATA SHEET BEFORE CONTINUING.

Surfaces to be coated must be dry and free of loose debris, dirt, oils, grease or any substance that would interfere with proper bond.  AIM #3 may be applied straight from its container after 2 minutes of low speed mechanical stirring.  Apply the product using brush, roller, or airless spray technique.  If airless spray application is desired, a custom blended AIM #3 version is available to be used with the following equipment: Ratio 30:1 or 40:1 with a ½” or ¾” hose and #35 or larger tip.  A shorter hose will increase output at the tip.

Apply AIM #3 in a smooth, even fashion to achieve a uniform coating thickness in either 1or 2 coats.  Equipment may be cleaned with xylene or toluene before AIM #3 begins to dry.

LIMITATIONS:

Do not apply to wet or frozen surfaces that are saturated with moisture.  Proper surface preparation and priming where indicated are important to product performance.  Shelf life is 12 months when stored indoors in factory sealed containers. This product is combustible.  Keep away from heat, sparks, and flames.  Use only EP rated equipment.
