CLEARCOAT 66 is a clear single component, moisture cure, aliphatic urethane coating. It produces a tough, glossy, hard wearing and chemically resistant surface. CLEARCOAT 66 may be used alone as a tough gloss coat over concrete, wood, fiberglass composite, or other approved substrates. CLEARCOAT 66 will encapsulate most aggregates including sharp, angular types used for traction enhancement. Surfaces treated with CLEARCOAT
66 maintain an attractive, colorful appearance that may be easily cleaned and remain functionally waterproof.
OUTSTANDING FEATURES:
§ Cured film is flexible, tough and abrasion resistant
§ Provides long-lasting protection and surface appearance
§ Will encapsulate rough, angular aggregates
§ Protects and enhances the appearance of colored aggregates
§ Has fast setting properties and rapid strength build
§ User friendly, fast application, reduces downtime
§ Will not discolor or degrade under UV radiation
§ Will accommodate movement as well as resist abrasion and wear
§ Highly resistant to staining and deterioration from most chemicals

APPLICATION:
Caution! READ THIS ENTIRE DATA SHEET BEFORE CONTINUING.
All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, and completely free of loose particles, oils, grease, or any substance that would interfere with proper bond.
CLEARCOAT 66 may be applied over products such as Polafloor Epoxy High Build at any time after the surface has been thoroughly set for at least 1 hour. If over-coating a painted surface, check compatibility first, as some paints may bleed color or be lifted by solvents.
CLEARCOAT 66 may be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray technique in a thin, even coat. Care should be taken to avoid creating foam or trapping air bubbles which may later result in pinholes or hazing. If traction enhancement is required, iron-free sharp white quartz sand or Estes colored aggregate may be broadcast into the wet
CLEARCOAT 66. After the first coat has thoroughly dried with the embedded aggregate, a second coat of
CLEARCOAT 66 is applied to thoroughly encapsulate the aggregate. Sized and graded sharp white quartz sand and mixed Estes aggregate are available from Andek Corporation. Equipment may be cleaned with toluene or xylene while the
CLEARCOAT 66 is still wet.
LIMITATIONS:
Do not use below 35°F. Do not apply if the application cannot be protected from precipitation for 4 hours. Shelf life is 12 months when stored in proprietary containers between 45°F and 95°F. Open containers will exhibit a reduced shelf life due to moisture absorption.
MAINTENANCE:
Damaged areas should be thoroughly sanded and cleaned and then recoated. Dirt accumulations may be removed with warm water and detergent.
PRECAUTIONS:
WARNING! This product is flammable. Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not ingest. Avoid sparks, open flame, and use EP rated equipment. In case of ingestion, do NOT induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, seek medical attention in addition to flushing. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
