SILVER FILM is a very high quality, solar reflective, aluminum flake, thermoplastic coating that will maintain its bright, reflective appearance for many years. SILVER FILM will adhere to most common substrates, and will outlast and outperform all traditional fibrated aluminum products. Unlike aluminum roof coatings, SILVER FILM is an industrial quality metal paint designed to protect roofs for five to ten years.

 

OUTSTANDING FEATURES:

APPLICATION:

Caution! READ THIS ENTIRE DATA SHEET BEFORE CONTINUING.

 

Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of loose debris, oils, grease and other substances that would interfere with proper bond.  Metals should be washed thoroughly to remove flaking rust and salts. SILVER FILM is applied directly out of the can after 2 minutes of low speed stirring or mixing. Apply the product using a brush, roller, or spray technique at a rate of 350 to 380 square feet per gallon in one single coat. Tools may be cleaned after use with mineral spirits.                                                                                                  

LIMITATIONS:

Do not apply to wet or frozen surfaces. Store out of direct sunlight and away from open flames or other ignition sources.  Keep containers tightly sealed when not in use.  Shelf life is 12 months when stored in unopened containers.

 

PRECAUTIONS:

Warning!  This product is combustible.  Keep away from sparks and open flames.  Use manual spray equipment or EP (explosion proof) rated equipment.  Keep container tightly closed when not in use.  Contains solvent and thermoplastic resin.  Avoid inhalation of fumes.  Use only in well-ventilated areas.  Avoid contact with skin and eyes.  In case of contact, flush with water for 15 minutes.  For contact with eyes, get immediate medical attention in addition to flushing.  Wear rubber gloves and chemical splash goggles when handling this product.  Keep out of reach of children and pets.
